Hua Hin

Hua Hin...Hua Hin. I thought I never went there before but guess that I was wrong. Mom said she took me there when I was like a little kid, I even had a pony ride (what a lame childhood I had). As I said previously in prior blog entry that I'm pretty sick of Bangkok due to countless factors and since I just came back from Kuching, doubt that I can get out of this country for a little while. Nevertheless, it didn't stop me from going out of Bangkok itself and fled to Hua Hin. Naughty note, I didn't tell my dad about it and I told mom a very last minute (she tagged along and I paid for accommodation so that's cool). My cousin followed us as well and I'm glad that she went with us, this girl has been through a lot.

I wish I could stay there longer, not just 2 days and one night. Reality sucks and I know I've been saying that for so many times. Apparently, my family and I need to attend some stupid dinner tonight and it's unavoidable. Look at the bright side though, at least I got to stay at the marvelous resort and fantastic services from friendly staffs at 'Let's Sea Hua Hin resort'. This place is relatively new and according to the Let's Sea Host there (yes they do have host), the resort was officially opened at the beginning of this year. Modern architecture and a unique interior design could easily take your breath away, this place surely amazed me. I first know this resort via internet searching and believe it or not I got a fantastic deal. Usually for the kind of room that I stayed which calls 'Studio Pier' costs around 10,670 baht *including VAT and service charges. However, it only cost me in total 4,444 baht and not only that it also included free breakfast for two persons (there are 6 choices for you to choose from). I don't care man..but in this case I want to call myself as the luckiest person in the world for getting that deal!

What I like the most about this place is a huge swimming pool and at the back of the room you get a personal pier that connects you straight to the swimming pool. How cool is that! I finally finished reading my big book and fell asleep at the room's deck...it's pretty rare for that to happen okay! There's no need to mention about the facilities around the resort as it's pretty up or maybe above my starndard. Most importanly, it's a private resort and kids age under 12 year-old do not allow into the facility. I think i'm in love with Hua Hin, it's totally different from Pattaya and Chiang Mai. It's not too crowded and it's pretty laid back suburb. On the first day there, we visited a few temples and by the time I wanted to go to the beach it was already high tide. The security guard told me it's better if I come back in the morning, it's nicer and of course low-tide. I spent my night in the swimming pool with my cousin and of course we had seafood for dinner...yum yum..and yes I had a long bath in a huge bath tub.

The very next morning I put an effort to get up early at 6.30a.m. My cousin and I walked to the beach (mom was too lazy to join us, she preferred to lie down in a big comfy bed). When we got there the sky was quite misty but less than 15 minutes a warm ray of sun shone on us. We walked and taking stupid photo along the way. The beach there is so clean and the sand is so soft. I wish I could stay there for at least a month. We made a trip back to the room (it's only 3 minutes walk from my room to the beach, at the back of the resort). I dragged mom out of bed so we could go the resort's restaurant for breakfast. The food was fantastic, the table is too small for all the food and of course we didn't have to pay extra for it as it's part of the deal.

I will definitely go back there again and I wish it could be sometime soon. Mom loved this place as well, she was on and on all the way how she wants to go back and stay there longer. She even planned to buy a new swimming suit hahahahaha.. mom rocks! Before, we say goodbye to Hua Hin we made a few stops to temples up on the hill. Outstanding views of Hua Hin from the top of the hill and my cousin and I took a long walk up to the Pagoda up on the top of the hill..and yes I was wearing high heels. Hey at least I made it to the top without help and same as on the way down *so proud of myself...so don't say that I don't have a good stamina. Now, back in Bangkok but tonight I'm going to dream about Hua Hin. Wish me luck on that.
